After Sales

Started in 2018

Hello, my name is Martijn. In 2018 I started at the After Sales at UNIFORM-Agri. Before this, I worked at various dairy farms in The Netherlands and abroad. At the end of 2017 I was looking for a new challenge, where I can use my skills in dairy farming for more farmers. It is difficult for me to have an advisory function with a profit motive, so a customer service job would suit me much better.

After internal training to get to know all the ins and outs of the program, I was ready to talk to customers and answer questions. Some questions are more technical than others and that keeps the work varied, which I appreciate. If I cannot help a customer directly, there is always a colleague nearby who can help me solve the problem. We have a great team with a lot of knowledge.

In a great team everyone can do their thing, you can be busy with anything
and everyone can find their place.

Now I have more tasks. I attend trade fairs, give workshops and presentations and visit the farmers every now and then. The variety is very nice. I used to dislike giving presentations, but doing this more often has turned it into something I like. Among other things, I like the interaction with the people in the room and meeting our customers face to face.

The great benefit of the After Sales position, a job from 9 to 5, is that it can be easily combined with working on a dairy farm. It’s nice to be busy with your hands after 5 pm. After all, it is an office job, where you spend a lot of time working with your head. Many of my colleagues therefore combine this work with a dairy farm at home. As a result, you also know what is going on at our customers’ companies and you see recognizable situations.

UNIFORM-Agri is very diverse. In a great team everyone can do their thing, you can be busy with anything and everyone can find their place. With each our own expertise, we can help each customer to find the best solution. Within UNIFORM-Agri you get plenty of opportunities to develop and grow.
