“When UNIFORM-Agri took over the goat management program EGAM, I saw the perfect opportunity for myself to combine my passion for both goats and cows. In a way, I moved to UNIFORM-Agri together with the customers. I look forward to helping further develop the goat sector while continuing my passion for dairy farming.”

My name is Chantal van den Broek, I am 27 years old and live together with my boyfriend and three cats in Alphen, North Brabant. I am one of the few colleagues who does not have a farm at home. My parents used to have a pig farm with sows, but it was too small, so they stopped. Since then, we have only had hobby animals.

My interests have always been in the agricultural sector. After I started working for the goat farmer down the street, I knew for sure that I wanted to continue in this sector. After completing my animal and livestock farming studies at both vocational and applied sciences level, I became familiar with various sectors within the agricultural world. Still, my passion lies mainly with goats and cows.

During my studies, I increasingly focused on goat farming. I see many opportunities in this sector in particular, because there is still so much to discover and develop. Compared to dairy farming, relatively little research has been done on goats, which makes it especially interesting to me.
