Morning Star Organic Farm is a 4th generation dairy farm located in southern Idaho. Certified organic since 2002, the farm currently milks approximately 500 cows. We made the switch to UNIFORM-Agri when our previous software provider phased out.

Everyone on the team utilizes the mobile app features. Those who have ‘boots in the manure’ at all hours of the day appreciate the simplicity of looking up a cow at any given time and having quick access to her data and info. Our team uses Dry Off feature as well as a couple custom lists created in Tasks, one of which helps us to manage close-up cows in the dry pen. Prior to UNIFORM-Agri and the mobile features offered, we were utilizing pen and paper which was time consuming to create and did not offer real time data.

The UNIFORM-Agri team made the transition to this new software very simple. Transition of data to the new system was super-fast, and the downtime was maybe a day before we were able to start pulling and inputting data. The support team was readily accessible to schedule trainings, help set up reports and to offer assistance as needed. Although less frequent, we still call on them and the support is as good as it was the day we decided to transition. I feel the biggest benefit of UNIFORM-Agri has been giving our employees visibility to cows and the autonomy to know what needs to be done with them.

I am certain there are many other features which we will continue to grow into in the future, and that is exciting! We constantly strive to be better and do better for our cows and UNIFORM-Agri will be a key tool for us to accomplish such.
