Daniel Kuperus, The Netherlands

My name is Daniel Kuperus and I am 26 years old. Currently I’m living in Assen, but very soon I will be moving to my new place in Hoogezand. I am a year-round motorcyclist, and yes, that includes winter! (Those days I just need less wake-up coffee after arriving at the office.) Besides my mode of transportation I enjoy reading, swimming, being a DIYer, and anything technologically related.

Growing up in the ‘big city’ of Assen, I was quite the city guy, having limited knowledge of anything farm-related. Only a few years ago, while visiting family in Canada, I got to see the inner workings of their greenhouses and dairy farm. While being a farmer is not the job for me, the charm of it definitely stuck with me.

Over the last few years I have been automating complex business processes, while being a motorcycle group-tourguide for trips in the United States on the side. Because of my odd selection of jobs, I have seen and experienced various things, cultures and businesses. Many of which help me come up with quick solutions on the spot.

After getting more seriously engaged in software development with a company in Amersfoort, I have now returned to my ‘roots’ here in the North. The choice to start with UNIFORM-Agri was very simple after meeting the people here, and realizing that the company just “feels right” for me.
