Ok, so what is a PDA ?
PDA stands for 'Personal Digital Assistant' and it is als known as a Pocket PC. It is a small handheld computer that runs a Windows Mobile operating system that allows you to take your cows records outside with you and then synchronize data with your PC when you retrn to the office.

UNIFORM Mobile is UNIFORM-Agri's unique finger-driven software for the PDA that provides access to the cow's records for both viewing and entering information away from the office PC. As you will see in this presentation Cow Records and even action lists can all be displayed on-screen and information including cow calendar events health & medicines, weigths and condition scores cann all be recorded on the move as it happens.

typical Dairy farm a stylus is easily dropped or lost. Once the information has been entered onto the PDA, the next time the PDA is connected the the PC in the farm office, the data is automatically and seamlessly downloaded into the UNIFOR Management program saving time and improving data quality. |

PDA Specifications
We recommend that the computer connected to the PDA is running Windows XP, and the minimum specification for the PDA is as follows :
